Circle Time

Damien has been working with Suffolk Primary School, bringing the children together for 'Circle Time' - one hour, twice a week, when the children as a group explore their feelings and discuss any concerns. The purpose of this is to increase understanding of themselves and each other. It is also a useful tool for building bridges and facilitating dialogue between the teachers and pupils, and between the pupils themselves. Children can use this space to learn the skills they need to achieve their potential in life i.e. effective communication, emotional literacy, anger management, peer mediation and conflict resolution.
This years course follows a highly sucessful run in 2007/08. This is done in school hours and is therefore only available to children attending Suffolk Primary School.
