SLIG is seeking to conduct a piece of health-related reaearch, with the these aims:
- provide SLIG with a holistic view of health issues within and between both the Suffolk and Lenadoon areas;
- set the research within the context both of these local communities and wider community initiatives and statutory provision;
- identify the potential, and extent, of future initiatives involving both communities with a focus on advocacy;
- make recommendations regarding health provision within and between both communities that will meet the needs of local residents.
We are currently completing the Terms of Reference for this research, wihcih will then go out to tender in the near future.
