Youth Outreach

As part of SLIG's commitment to reaching local youth who are not involved in other organisations, Damien and Cathal have committed one night a week to take part in Detached Outreach. We go into Suffolk and Lenadoon and attempt to engage with young people who congregate and take part in what many consider to be anti-social behaviour. We aim to build up trust with the young people, and find out what their needs are and how we can help them. This assists us then in planning programmes that will have maximum benefit for all young people in the two areas.
