Drama Group

1st September 2008

In October and November 2008 SLIG will be running a drama group for primary school-aged children from Suffolk and Lenadoon. The children will come together to write, produce and act in a play about what life is like on interface. The children will discover what the differences and similarities are between us in religion and background, and what life is like for their friends on 'the other side' of the interface. We aim to examine and break down stereotypes and confusion about religion in small children. This will also be great fun, and the children will hopefully discover new talents and make new friends!

The finished play will be performed by the children to family and friends before Christmas.

There are up to 16 places available in the Drama Group, and they are filling up fast so if it sounds fun get your child's name down!

It is free of charge and the venue will be confirmed nearer the time. For more information or to register, please contact Danielle or Ewan at SLIG.
