Strategic Advisory Panel

The SLIG Community Plan objectives for the 2005-2010 period are:
- to provide opportunities which develop people's health and well being, educational attainment, social and economic skills and capacity;
- to strengthen social capital through capacity and partnership building, furthering inclusion and volunteering and influencing policy and decision making for community benefit; and
- to develop a safe and healthy environment which in turn provides social affordable housing and community facilities for social, leisure and recreational activities for all abilities.
As part of this second aim, SLIG is putting together a Strategic Advisory Panel, made up of a variation of professionals involved at a strategy level in their own area of work, which in turn reflects the implementation of strategy on the ground for SLIG staff.
