Suffolk Woman Wins Miss Northern Ireland
19th August 2010
A Suffolk woman scooped the Miss Northern Ireland beauty title, in an early summer boost for the Suffolk community.
Lori Moore lifted the title at the Europa Hotel on 21 June. She currently attends university in England, studying advertising and marketing. Scooping a major beauty title will open up further opportunities for the popular 19 year old Suffolk woman.
Lori, who lived with her grand-parents in Suffolk prior to going to the University of Northumbia in Newcatle, is a former pupil of Hunter House School. Conveying congratulations to the young Suffolk woman was Jean Brown, of the Suffolk Lenadoon Interface Group’s (SLIG) Management Committee.
According to the SLIG representative, Lori success will encourage young people in Suffolk and Lenadoon.
Lori’s Grandfather, Victor, maintains close contact with staff in both the Suffolk Community Forum and SLIG. They have extended an open invitation to her to visit both organisations in their Stewartstown Road premises.
