SLIG's Influential Inflow

The Suffolk Lenadoon Interface Group (SLIG) attracted an influx of influential visitors in November.
It was a great pleasure for SLIG to be visited by Atlantic Philanthropies (AP), the organisation’s major funder, on 17 November. AP Chairperson, Fritz Schwarz and Jack Rosenthal, an AP Senior Fellow, accompanied by AP’s Belfast representative, Padraic Quirk, met with representatives of the SLIG Management Committee and staff team.
Later that same day representatives of the Aisling Awards visited SLIG. The Aisling Awards were held in the Europa Hotel on 25 November, with SLIG winning the community award (see item in this section).
On 19 November, Minister for Justice, David Forde MLA, met with SLIG. While Minister for Social Development, Alex Attwood MLA paid a visit to SLIG on 24 November.
