SLIG Listens on Community Safety Issue

9th December 2010

The Suffolk Lenadoon Interface Group is listening to residents about the vexed issue of community safety.

A Community Safety Conference was held in the Dunadry Hotel on 26-27 November. Sixty-five Suffolk and Lenadoon residents vented their concerns about anti-social behavior, crime, response times and other issues. These concerns have been compiled and will be addressed at a follow up conference with the same participants in mid-February 2011.

This next event will see the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) take part. The issues raised by residents will be addressed to the PSNI.
