Our young people help set a new World Record!

Young people from cross community SLYC (Suffolk Lenadoon Youth Council) will be working with other young people to try and break a world record over the next few weeks. The young people have been involved in training to achieve an NOCN Level 1 qualification in Good Relations and Cultural Diversity and after seeing an article in the Andersonstown News have decided to get involved with the Belfast Flags of Hope Project. The project ambitiously sets out to break the Guinness World Record for the longest line of bunting ever! The current record is 1.35 miles - our goal is to make at least 1.5miles. The bunting line will then be flown along various interfaces including our own in Belfast. Artist Raymie Watson comments:
